Look at these crazy clouds from this morning......
The boys kept saying "look at the creamy clouds....." while we were driving to school.
I didn't know if I should be intrigued or nervous. Not sure that I've ever seen clouds like this before.

As a mom, I get the privilege of sometimes stumbling on a funny note inside one of the boys backpacks. Yesterday, I stumbled on this one.....and it made my heart so sad.
I need to talk to Hudson about this tonight. I'm guessing that he feels guilty or that we are replacing him. Ugh, I can't even put into words how much I hate this.

Don't you love that it can take 2 weeks to lose 6 pounds but then those 6 pounds can be gained back in a single weekend? Yep, that's my life. I was doing so good with eating healthy (no carbs during the week but free eating on the weekends) and running and the pounds were coming off. Thanks to Valentine's Day and the extended festivities I am starting right back over. Fabulous.

Have you seen the reusable cups at Starbucks?
I saw these a few weeks ago while I was waiting in line to place my order. They only cost $1 and you get .10 off your coffee order every time you use this cup. While I'm big on cutting down on landfill waste, it was actually the cup itself that sold me! I have a love for those disposable insulated coffee cups that you buy at the grocery store. I'm weird, I know. I love the feel of them.....they are lightweight yet sturdy. (I have a ton of the stainless steel coffee mugs but there is just something about the disposable ones) In fact, one time I rinsed one of them out and decided to reuse it. About halfway through my coffee the bottom fell right out. I guess when they say "one time use" they mean it. Anyways, this cup has that same feel and I love it!! It's the simple things that make me happy! :)

Thank you so much for sharing your feelings about running these past few weeks. I absolutely HATE running but I see all of these people running and they look like they just love it. I keep trying it and I can't seem to understand why they love it so much. I was glad to hear that even though you are running, you hate it as much as I go! lol! Keep it up! It has (sort of) inspired me to get back on the treadmill!
When I took Tate to school this morning, he was the one that pointed the clouds out to me. We decided it looked like cloud cotton candy. So neat!
love your new look! neat clouds....I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of the note. Survivor guilt must be awful....especially on your little boys....
yep, I am sure it's very confusing for the boys. For me...I start to feel guilty but then realize that I'm the one that got the raw end of the deal. He's in heaven!! Can't beat that :)
